Today we covered

• Download iTerm
• Install Command Line Tools (with xCode!: code-select —install)
• Install Oh My Zsh
• Generate SSH Keys in Github

• Install Sass
• Install Bourbon

Terminal commands

• Command Line Starter Kit
• cd : change directory
• mkdir : make directory
• ls : list
• .. : go up one directory
• say : followed by words, the computer will speak to you!
• pwd : prints working directory

• You could start a new project with is touch index.html && mkdir css && mkdir images && touch css/style.css css/reset.css

• hitting up arrow goes through list of previously used commands

Git

• Generate SSH Keys in Github
• Understanding “local” versus “remote”
• Git init, git status, git add, git commit -m (remember no special characters between “ “ ), and git push origin master
• Why and how do we use Git?

Homework

Everyday a bit of written, audio, or video resources will be assigned to review, which will supplement class assignments. Assignments are always due by 8:00am of the following day, unless noted.

Submit everything once in one “day_04” folder, and then push to github!
